To visit...On Saturday, July 16, two great shows are on the books. The Designers Downtown Market in Raleigh, NC features "fine locally made arts and crafts with an outdoor big city feel." They have two more events coming up in the fall, so crafters in the Raleigh area should sign up now.

Hey there, crafty people! It may be the beginning of April, but it's already time to prepare for the looming craft show season. Need a hand? Our helpful guide will give you everything you need to know, from getting in to setting up to selling.
Remember shrinky dinks? You colored the special plastic sheets, cut out the shapes, and watched them shrink like magic as they baked in the oven. It was pretty much the best thing ever when you were eight years old, and it's still the best thing ever even if you are 28 years old (or more!).
